This is Sadie, one of my boxers. Boxers are great dogs. Very intelligent and friendly. Don’t settle for some little ankle biter. Get yourself a real dog like one of these.
As the owner of an ankle-biter dog, I will say that at least the Snoop Dog doesn’t chew up furniture, or leave turds the size of tree stumps in my back yard. I’m all about the ankle biter dogs :>)
One of the many great things about boxers is their intelligence. I was amazed at how quickly they caught on in obedience school. Now, they can also be independent (and sometimes stubborn) and don’t do what they are supposed to simply because they don’t want to, but that is not often. They generally want to please you. Thus, I’ve never had a problem with them chewing on my furniture and their turds are really not that big.
I’ve had ankle-biter dogs and they just don’t compare to a boxer, imo.
I LOVE boxers. Sadie looks like my oldest son Oliver, who has cropped ears. BTW: You’ve just earned about a hundred cool points by posting this picture.

Looks like Sadie’s got the right idea, too.
